Danyor is a town across the river from Gilgit, historically connected to the city by one of the region's older suspension bridges. It functions largely as a residential and agricultural area rather than a tourist site in itself, though its position across the river gives a different vantage point back toward Gilgit. The nearby Danyor Suspension Bridge is the main reason visitors pass through.
