Set in the upper reaches of Naltar Valley, the Naltar Lakes are a cluster of small alpine lakes known for their striking, often described as jewel-toned, colouring, which shifts with the light and season. Reaching them typically involves a jeep track further up the valley beyond the main village, adding a bit of an expedition feel to the visit. The lakes are one of the main draws that bring visitors further up the valley beyond its lower meadows.
