Sethi House is a restored 19th-century merchant mansion in Peshawar's old city, notable for the elaborate carved woodwork that decorates its doors, windows and interior rooms. It reflects the wealth of the trading families who built grand private homes in this part of the city during a period of active regional and Central Asian trade. The restoration work has preserved much of the original detail, giving visitors a rare look inside one of the old city's private residences.
