A short trail above Lower Kachura leads to the quieter Upper Kachura Lake, a smaller alpine lake known for its clear, still water and noticeably fewer visitors than its more famous neighbour. The walk up gives good views back over the valley, and the lake itself, ringed by rock and sparse vegetation, offers a calmer, more secluded alternative for those wanting to get away from the busier lower lake.
