Gor Khatri is a historic complex in Peshawar's old city with layers of use stretching from an early Buddhist site through to a Mughal-era caravanserai and later colonial administrative use. That layered history is part of what makes it interesting, since walking through the site means passing through physical evidence of several distinct periods. It now houses a small museum and gallery space, giving added context to the site's long and varied past.
