Minimarg is a remote high-altitude village in Astore district, close to the Line of Control, known for its meadows and the mountain scenery that surrounds it on all sides. Its relative remoteness means it sees fewer visitors than better-known spots in the district, giving it a quieter, more untouched character. The drive out to reach it is itself part of the appeal, passing through increasingly open high-altitude terrain.
