Data Darbar is the shrine of a revered 11th-century Sufi saint and one of the most visited religious sites in Lahore, drawing a steady flow of devotees throughout the day and especially on Thursday evenings. The complex has grown over time into a large compound with a mosque, courtyards and a langar hall serving free food to visitors. Beyond its religious significance, it functions as a genuine community hub, with the atmosphere around the shrine giving a sense of the city's Sufi traditions still very much in practice.
