A forest-fringed lake above Rama Meadows, Rama Lake is reached on foot and offers some of the closer, more direct views toward Nanga Parbat available in the Astore area. The walk up through pine forest before the lake opens out adds a sense of arrival to reaching the water's edge. It's a popular half-day or full-day addition for visitors already camping at the meadows below.
